How to setup Mozilla Thunderbird

Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird - It's a free download.

For these instructions, we will use an example account. You should replace the example settings with your own as you go through this article.

After installing Thunderbird, Start it up.

Hit Next.

Put your name in the first field, your e-mail address in the second and hit next.

Select POP for the server type, specify the incoming and outgoing servers and hit next. (For example, if your domain is fandangle.com, then your incoming and outgoing server names are mail.fandangle.com)

Enter your entire email address for the Incoming user name, then hit next.

Enter your e-mail address for your account name, then hit next.

The following congrats window appears - Hit Finish.

The first time you retrieve, and or send an e-mail from your Thunderbird client you will be asked for your password. If you do not want to be prompted each time, check the box to remember the password.

If you do not know your password, ask your website administrator to reset it. If you do not know who your administrator is, contact Owl Watch , and we will advise you.
