Joomla! myContent Component Released |

What is it and why?
I wrote this component to give Joomla! enabled users a little more control over their content from the frontend.
-
Authors can now see all their content in one list, which means they can edit unpublished items
from the front end.
-
If they have access to publish items, they publish content with one click from the content list
on the front.
-
Allows users to create a content item for any section, instead of having to have multiple
links from the usermenu.

Dress up your site with these cool little calendar page date items. Replace the standard Joomla dates for content items with these. Perfect for a blog page. Specify which sections, categories, or pages you would like them to appear on! If there is any interest, it will be revamped with more control over css.
bot_caldate1.0.0
Compatible with Joomla 1.1 too.
Inspiration for these calendar dates derived from http://mezzoblue.com
Please post any questions, problems, etc. on the forum, not in the comments. Thanks.

I've been using Walter Cedric's akoComment plus for comments on my last few sites. Its easy to install and simple to configure and use. However, I found the layout and the css-a-bility of the output left something to be desired.
I went through the mambot and added some style to the basic layout. You can see the results here. I always liked the calendars over at mezzoblue so I thought I would add those in there.
I added my modified code in my Documents area

** I realized that I never posted the css for the comments... I added a sticky on the forum with attached css and image files to include with your template. You can modifiy these however you want to fit your site.

I'm going to bed now, but before I forget, here are a couple tips to remember when you are recompiling php with cpanel.
-
If you have any other modules (aka webdav), remember to recompile them after php compiles
-
If you are using securityimages by Walter Cedric (which is pretty damn cool by the way) remember that you need both the FreeType and GD libraries.
-
Don't muck around with your browser while your Apache update is running in cPanel!!
That's pretty much it... everything should be working now... even the new Exposé Gallery , which is pretty damn cool.
Alright, now I can go to bed.
